In addition to drying the lumber I mill from my mobile sawmill, I also kiln dry firewood for sale. I typically keep Douglas Fir and Big Leaf Maple on hand, fully seasoned and ready to burn. While "seasoned" firewood is generally defined as anything under 20% moisture content, my kiln-dried Fir and Maple consistently test under 10% — giving you a hotter, cleaner burn with less smoke and creosote buildup. Firewood is stacked and sold in metal bins holding just shy of a face cord (1/3 cord) each, making it easy to know exactly what you're getting.
